As part of the Go Green, Get Fit Challenge, I had the opportunity to review NatureBox and am so excited to share my thoughts on this company. NatureBox is a monthly delivery service that delivers healthy snacks right to your door (4-6 full sized packages). You don’t have to sign up for any amount of time – you can just pause or cancel whenever you feel like it. NatureBox strives to give you a healthier option when it comes to snacking so that you aren’t wasting calories on food that is bad for you.
My thoughts
I Love NatureBox. I mean, love. At first, I wasn’t sure about the concept, but it was so fun to open the box and find five generously sized bags of healthy snacks. And we’re not talking nasty stuff that tastes like dog food…we’re talking some YUMMY food here. My Dad even tried the granola and told me that I just had to write up a good review because it was that yummy. And at just $19.95/month (plus free shipping!), I’m considering subscribing to the service. I swear it’s cheaper than if I were to buy five similar items at my local health food store.

So…what did I receive?
I was given the opportunity to try out the June box from NatureBox. This is what was in it:
+ Harvest Fruit Granola
+ Sun-Ripened White Peaches
+ Apple Rings
+ Citrus Kick Almonds
+ Organic Mighty Mix
What I love
+ The convenience
+ The affordability
+ The flavor (seriously yummy)
+ The quality – Some of the items we received were certified as organic. Also, NatureBox uses an actual nutritionist to pick out each snack in an effort to keep these snacks healthy. All of their snacks also abide by the following quality standards: No high fructose corn syrup, no partially hydrogenated oils, no trans fats, no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavors, and no artificial colors.
+ The packaging – the box it comes in is very sturdy. More so than a regular shipping box. Very easy to re-use around the house. In fact, I think I’ll store my nailpolish in it. Of course, you can always recycle it, too. There was also very minimal ‘fluff’ inside the box – just a little bit of paper that is easily recycled. Lastly, the bags themselves are made from recyclable rice paper!
+ They Give back. For every box sent, NatureBox donates one meal through their partnership with Feeding America.

So, would I recommend NatureBox? Heck yeah. We really enjoyed mixing the granola into our steel cut oats in the morning. And, later in the week – The Husband decided to make some granola of his own…so he cut up the apple rings and threw those in. They were a great addition!
